In this short article, I’ll take you through the applications I’ve used to write my book on Processing. I’ve mainly used three small pieces of software to keep my productivity high: iA Writer, Github for Mac and MiniShadow.

Last December, I was asked by Packt Publishing to write a book on Processing 2. I’m happy to announce that my book will be published this week. The title of the book is “Processing 2: Creative Programming Cookbook”. It’s not a book for people who just get started with Processing.

I needed a small time lapse application to document a project so I decided to write one myself. I’ve used Processing 1.5.1 and the fantastic controlP5 library. I’m using a Logitech webcam that supports HD video. The sketch saves images of 1280 × 720 pixels.
