Apple Phofilmusigner

I went to Apple Phofilmusigner today. A seminar about “remixing” creativity. These seminars are big advertisements for Apple products, but I did learn some new tricks. And I really enjoyed working with their products so far.

First part of the seminar was about Aperture. And how you can use the application in a professional photography workflow. I was actually quite amazed when I saw the color correction options. Every feature in Aperture works in real time, on RAW images. I’m seriously thinking about moving to digital photography now. Until now I mostly worked with analogue photography. But I’m getting a bit tired of all the work that gets into it.

The afternoon session was about setting up a video workflow with Final Cut Studio. Nothing very new to me. I work almost every day with the software suite. Allthough, the demo of Shake was quite amazing. I’ve never used it before. It has some nice features and I might try it out when I have the time.

Nice seminars. Hope to see more of these in the future. But then a little bit more “Pro”.
