To animate the bubbles we made yesterday, we’ll need to add a new method to our Bubble class: the update() method. If we call this method before we call the render() method on our bubble objects inside draw(), the y-position of the bubble will change, and the bubble will be rendered on a new coordinate. Day three will be all about triangles. But we’re not going to use the triangle() function. We will draw points and lines again just like the examples from day one and two, but we will restrict the lines so they can only be drawn on a grid based on regular triangles. To make it a little more interesting, we’ll also add animation.

Today’s sketch will be similar to the one from yesterday, only we’ll use random points and connect them in a different way. We will draw a line if the distance between the points is less than a certain number. The distance will also be used as the value for the transparency of the line. Points close to each other will have a less transparent connection between them, points that are further away will be connected by a very transparent line.

Random Color Palettes with colorLib
